Presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The final command of the Lord Jesus, while on this earth, was a command to carry the good news of the Gospel to the entire world. At Lighthouse, we take that command seriously! We believe that it is our job to evangelize the world within our generation. We believe that it is our responsibility to reach our community and beyond.
The mission outreach of Lighthouse reaches around the globe to the remote regions of the world. We have a part in missionary efforts from Columbus, Georgia to the Fiji Islands of the South Pacific. Our mission outreach reaches into the plains of South Africa and to the Andes Mountains of South America.
The excitement of a world-wide outreach is cultivated in the following ways:

Our home church, Maranatha Baptist Church of Shelby, North Carolina is very dear to our hearts. It was at this church that we were trained, discipled, and called to Brazil. Our pastor, Frank Camp, has been faithful in teaching us the Scriptures and allowing us the opportunity to work in various ministries of our church. It was in May of 2007 while sitting under our pastor’s preaching that God specifically revealed to us that it was time for us to leave home and go to Brazil. On August 21, 2007 we were accepted by World Wide New Testament Baptist Missions, a ministry designed to help our local church in sending us to the field. | |
