In a day when expositional preaching seems to be the abnormal rather than the normal, it is imperative that such preaching be brought back to the pulpits of churches. What has replaced expositional preaching is a assorted collection of religious speeches that are being passed off as sermons from God. First, there are the kind that are packed full of pop-psychology and candy store theology. The point of the preaching seems to be to make sinful man feel good about himself. Second, there are those who seek use God’s Word as a springboard from which to launch into their favorite subject to preach.
Thus, this page is being developed in order to provide thoughts, challenges and resources concerning the subject of expositional preaching. It is this writer’s belief that expositional preaching is the best type of preaching, and it is the only type consistently deals with God’s Word and builds believers.
